Seth Parks Glass blown glass chandelier artist
at Snow Farm, a craft school, in western Massachusetts. After taking several classes he decided to set up his own studio in 2004. In 2004-2005, he studied at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass with some the best glassblowers in the world, including Italian glass maestros Elio Quarisa and Cesare Toffolo, William Gudenrath, and Jesse Kohle. He also studied with Jay Musler at Penland School of Crafts, and Sally Prach at Pilchuck Glass School.
Seth gets much of his inspiration from nature. "I feel like I'm giving birth to new life when I create forms from nature such as flowers and sea-life." He often incorporates small natural forms into larger works. "My goal is to incorporate natural forms into large abstract natural forms that will inspire, excite, and soothe the minds of admirers."
